Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q01. What is the coverage area of kajangfood.my? Is it only for Kajang town?

A01. Kajangfood.my covers eateries in the district of Kajang (Municipal of Kajang MPKJ), which is formally known as Hulu Langat. Starting from Batu9 to Semenyih. The coverage area can be found in this link (https://kajangfood.my/coverage)

Q02. Will I be charged for using Kajangfood.my?

A02. There are no charges for using Kajangfood.my. Only your food orders will be charged by the respective eatery and not by Kajangfood.my. Also, Kajangfood.my does not charge a commission for all your orders. Therefore, the price of online orders should be the same as dine-in. Report over pricing between online orders and dine-in in this link (https://kajangfood.my/unfair-pricing).

Q03. Why some of the eateries do not offer delivery service? And what can I do to get food delivered to my place?

A03. Currently Kajangfood.my does not offer any delivery service to our clients, therefore our clients are required to provide or source their delivery methods. Even if some of our clients do not offer delivery service, you are welcome to order Grab Express (https://express.grab.com/en) or Lalamove (https://www.lalamove.com/en-my/personal?hsLang=en-my) to pick up your food order.

Q04. How come some markers are shown on the map, but the eatery cannot be found?

A04. Due to the infancy of Kajangfood.my, most markers are adopted from google map service and some eateries have closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are constantly updating to improve the accuracy of markers.

Q05. How come some eateries are not found on the map?

A05. Some eateries (restaurants, food stalls, etc.) prefer to keep their businesses unavailable on Kajangfood.my, or some of them are new and had not approached us for listing. If you like to list your business on Kajangfood.my, you can click on the following link (https://kajangfood.my/list-my-business)

Q06. Why do I have to close the browser window when I have completed my order? Is there any link to get back to the website of that eatery?

A06. On mobile devices, technically, there is no close button for the ordering widget. The food client can either use the return button on their browser to go back to the website or simply close the tab where the ordering menu is opened, which is what most mobile food clients do. The mobile widget does not have the same refinement as the desktop one when it comes to this linking. We would have made it like on PC but the technology is simply not there yet with the mobile browsers and it won’t work reliably. Also, the size of the screen is limiting drastically the design options – this is why we take -over the entire screen also we cannot put too many elements in one view because we risk ending up with a very cluttered interface and UX.
